Groovalicious is a party concept in Brussels dedicated to urban roots & global grooves. The driving forces behind it are DJ’s Mukambo & Bruselo. They have been playing and promoting urban grooves for some years now.

Expect the most danceable urban grooves ranging from afrobeat, Brazilian sounds, Latin, arabesque, ethiogrooves and Balkan to hiphop, dancehall & jungle.

Kota Sound System (Lisbon): musicians of the Lisbon-based Afro/reggae/mestiço band TERRAKOTA take us on a transcontinental ride, following the ancient slave routes, always in sight of the equator. We’ll go full speed through afrobeat, salsa, soukouss, funana, samba, merengue, m’balax and beyond. With temperatures that make it impossible to stop dancing!

Rokia Bamba (Massimadi): Rokia is a multi-faceted woman with more than 15 years of experience at Radio Campus, co-creator of one of the first hiphop, r&b en funk programs (Full Mix). She is the Massimadi festival host DJ, likes to experiment, to discover eclectic sonorities, and she’s proud to have AfroElectroHipHopFunkyRaggaStyle in her blood! Her main aim? To see everybody groove on the dancefloor!

Afrobeat, ethiogrooves, Afro-Latin & Afro-Brazilian, soukouss, arabesque, Lusophone sounds, reggae/dub/dancehall and hip-hop with a ethnic/regional flavour. Afro-Grooves from the Urb’n’Jungle!

Bruselo : Urban roots & global grooves from the mountains of Balkan to the beaches of Brazil: cumbia, Balkan, arabesque, soukous, coupé décalé, hip hop, reggaeton, reggae & jungle. Music with groove!
