We invite different artists and thinkers from Europe and Africa, among them one of the most influential female thinkers of the moment: Minna Salami.

HUMAN RIGHTS (1)
Gjovalin Macaj will run a workshop on the discourse and practice of human rights. He offers a fierce critique but also an alternative for new policies and a new discourse.
Macaj is a tutor in politics and international relations at University of Oxford. He specialises in global human rights and has held teaching and research positions across Europe.
ISLAMOPHOBIA (2)
Marina Calculli with discuss in this workshop the politics of migration in Europe and the Middle East. It explains how liberal and authoritarian regimes use migrants as a tool for political purposes.
Marina Calculli is an Italian public intellectual and a scholar in Middle East Politics. She has lived for several years in diverse countries and held research and teaching positions at several universities, including at the American University of Beirut, George Washington University, Istituto Orientale di Napoli and University of Oxford.

OMAR BA Is a historian and activist. At the moment he is involved on various projects on Belgian and international level around topics such as diversity, raising conscioussness and African diaspora. He is an important voice in Belgium. >>_CONCERT_<< NAWARIS Is the project of Hussein Rassim, an Iraqi musician who left his country beacause of the war. In Brussels he has brought musicians from different countries to record a Migration Album. Groovalicious supports this project and we are very much looking forward to this concert. >>_DANCE WORKSHOP_<< DABKE Dance workshop by Ahmed Ghannam. Dabke is a the most popular dance in Arab world. A traditional dance that brings people together. Ahmed Ghanam is one of the most important dabke choreographers and we are happy he is leading the workshop. >>_DJ’S_<<

She is part of female dj collective SUPAFLY (Brussels) which has a weekly radioshow on BRUZZ. Apart from being impassioned with alternative hip-hop, she will make you bounce on every sort of groovy beats going from reggae, funk, world to jazzy grooves.

GAN GAH (MOROCCO/BXL)
Fed by traditional « Gnawa » and Berber rythms ever since he was born in the suburbs of Agadir, young DJ and producer Gan Gah is now based in Brussels.This accomplished musician, who has been performing for many years as a beatmaker under various pseudonyms, knows how to shake a dancefloor with his bewitching beats.Offering a cunning combination of club music and traditional North-African music/rythms/melodies, his first EP “Souktronics” is a declaration of love to his Moroccan roots and to modern electronic music which is more than likely about to make a lot of noise on worldwide dancefloors.
